Does DDoS protection cost extra?

What types of attacks are mitigated?
Volumetric attacks. UDP floods, SYN floods, ICMP floods, DNS amplification, NTP reflection, and similar Layer 3/4 attacks. These are the most common DDoS vectors. Application-layer (Layer 7) attacks require additional tools like rate limiting or WAF, which you configure on your server.

Will DDoS mitigation affect legitimate traffic?
