Linux RDP — wait, isn't RDP a Windows thing?
RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol) is a network protocol — Windows ships it natively, but Linux can serve it too via xrdp. xrdp accepts standard RDP connections from any client (mstsc, Microsoft Remote Desktop, FreeRDP) and exposes an X11 session running XFCE, MATE, GNOME, or whatever you install.

What desktop environment do I get?
By default, XFCE — it's the lightest and works smoothly over RDP. We also have one-click images with MATE, GNOME, and KDE Plasma if you'd rather use those. You can install any DE you like once you're in.

Which RDP clients work?
Every major one. Microsoft Remote Desktop on Mac/iOS, mstsc.exe on Windows, FreeRDP and Remmina on Linux, RD Client on Android. xrdp speaks standard RDP — pick whichever client you prefer.

What about clipboard, sound, and file sharing?
All supported. Bidirectional clipboard works out of the box. Audio redirect works with PulseAudio modules pre-installed. Drive-redirect mounts your local folders inside the Linux session — same as Windows RDP.

How fast does it deploy?

Can I use SSH too?
