Why builders pick Cloudzy

A Telegram proxy that stays online.

The four things buyers actually compare us on.

Telegram-native protocol

Built into the official Telegram client. No third-party VPN app, no system tunnel, only Telegram traffic touches the proxy.

14-day money-back

Try it. If your network blocks the proxy on day 3, refund, no questions asked. Cancel anytime from the dashboard.

99.95% uptime SLA

Your proxy needs to be there when you reach for it. 12 monitored regions, public SLA at status.cloudzy.com.

Real humans on chat

Live chat replies typically under 5 minutes. Engineers, not script-readers. Median resolution under 1 hour.

Pick your build

Two binaries.
Both rock solid.

mtproto-proxy is the official C build from Telegram's own team. MTG is the modern Go reimplementation with fake-tls obfuscation and easier ops. Both run as a single process; both are one command to install.

Use cases

What people run on an
MTProto VPS.

Reach Telegram from blocked networks

When a country, ISP, or hotel blocks Telegram, an MTProto proxy on a $2.48/mo VPS keeps it working. Set once in the Telegram client, no extra app.

Channel / community host

Bot operators, news channel owners, and community admins host their own proxy and share the URL with members so the channel stays accessible.

Stay in touch with family abroad

Friends and relatives in countries where Telegram is blocked? Hand them a proxy link and they're back online without learning what a VPN is.

Promoted-channel sponsorship

MTG supports the official 'sponsored channel' field, your proxy can promote a channel of your choice in the Telegram client when users connect through it.

Backup when the cellular path fails

Some carriers throttle or block Telegram on cellular. A proxy on Cloudzy in a friendly region keeps the chat working when the direct path doesn't.

Side-by-side with WireGuard

Run MTProto for Telegram-only and WireGuard for everything else on the same VPS, two transports, one $2.48/mo bill.

FAQ. MTProto VPS

Common questions, straight answers.

What is an MTProto proxy VPS?

An MTProto proxy VPS is a cloud server you control where you run an MTProto proxy. Telegram's own proxy protocol that lets the Telegram client reach Telegram's servers when direct access is blocked or throttled. Unlike a general VPN, it only carries Telegram traffic. With root access on Cloudzy you SSH in, run mtproto-proxy or MTG, share the proxy URL, and you're done.

MTProto vs a general VPN, when does MTProto win?

When the only thing you want to fix is Telegram. MTProto is built into the official Telegram client (no third-party VPN app needed), uses minimal CPU and bandwidth, and runs invisibly to the rest of your phone. If you want all your apps tunneled, you want WireGuard or OpenVPN. If you want Telegram to work on the same phone with everything else direct, MTProto is the cleanest option.

Which MTProto implementation should I install?

Two main options: the official mtproto-proxy from Telegram (C, fast, simple) and MTG (Go, modern, easier to operate). Both ship as a single binary, listen on a single TCP port, and accept the same proxy URLs in the Telegram client. MTG also supports the newer 'fake-tls' obfuscation mode that's harder to fingerprint.

Do I need a domain name or TLS certificate?

No. MTProto's fake-tls mode disguises the proxy traffic as ordinary HTTPS without you owning the certificate of the site it impersonates. If you'd rather use plain MTProto with the secret-as-DC mode, no TLS at all is needed. The Cloudzy IP plus a port is enough.

How do I share the proxy with users?

Both implementations generate a tg://proxy?server=...&port=...&secret=... URL. Pasted into Telegram, it adds the proxy with one tap. You can share it as a link, a QR code, or a t.me/proxy?... link that opens directly in the Telegram app.

Is the traffic logged?

We don't log VPN/proxy traffic itself, what flows through is your business. Standard infrastructure logs (login attempts to the VPS, billing) exist as you'd expect from any cloud provider. MTProto proxy logs are minimal by default and can be disabled or rotated.

How many users can one MTProto VPS handle?

MTProto is light. The 512 MB / 1 vCPU plan is comfortable for personal and small-group use. 1 GB plan handles a hundred active users. 4 GB plan handles a few thousand. Memory matters more than CPU, since each connected client holds a small buffer.

Which region should I pick?

Pick a region that's geographically close but on the open side of whatever blocking you're routing around. Frankfurt and Amsterdam typically work well from Middle East. Tokyo and Singapore for users in East Asia. All 12 Cloudzy regions support MTProto equally.

Can I run other services on the same VPS?

Yes. MTProto is just a daemon listening on one TCP port, you can also run a web server, a Pi-hole DNS resolver, or any other workload on the same box. Many users layer MTProto + a WireGuard tunnel on the same VPS for two separate use cases.

Is there a money-back guarantee?

Yes, 14 days from purchase, no questions asked, full refund. Apply from the panel or email [email protected].
