What is NirvaShare?
NirvaShare is an open-source file-sharing tool you self-host. Think of it as a private alternative to WeTransfer or Dropbox Transfer, upload, generate a link, send. It plugs into S3-compatible object storage (AWS S3, MinIO, Backblaze B2, Wasabi) so files don't fill your VPS disk.

Why self-host instead of using WeTransfer?
Three reasons. One: no per-transfer file-size cap; you set your own. Two: links don't expire on someone else's clock. Three: client data stays under your domain and your jurisdiction, useful for legal, medical, finance, and EU/UAE-based clients with data-residency rules.

How do I install NirvaShare on a Cloudzy VPS?
Pick an Ubuntu plan, SSH in, install Java 17 (`apt install default-jre`) plus a database (Postgres or MySQL), then download NirvaShare from nirvashare.com and run the installer. Front it with Nginx and Let's Encrypt for HTTPS. Total time: about 30 minutes.

Does NirvaShare need separate object storage?
Yes. NirvaShare stores file metadata in its DB and offloads file bytes to S3-compatible storage. You can run MinIO on the same Cloudzy VPS for a single-server setup, or point it at AWS S3, Backblaze B2, Wasabi, or any S3-compatible bucket.

How big are the files I can share?
There's no hard cap from us. The limit is the storage backend: AWS S3 supports up to 5 TB per object, MinIO is unlimited per object. Cloudzy's 40 Gbps uplink means uploads from your browser to the VPS are typically capped only by your home connection.

Is the data encrypted?
Yes, at rest if your S3 backend supports server-side encryption (AWS S3 does, MinIO can be configured for it), and in transit via Let's Encrypt SSL. NirvaShare also supports per-link passwords and link expiry for an extra layer.

How fast is provisioning?
Once payment is confirmed, your VPS is live in 60 seconds. NirvaShare install plus database setup takes about 30 minutes on top. We have a one-click image with Java 17 and Postgres pre-installed to skip a few steps.

Can I use it with my own domain?
Yes, point a CNAME at your VPS, run `certbot --nginx -d files.example.com`, edit the NirvaShare base-URL setting. Done. Your file links go out as `https://files.example.com/...` instead of a third-party domain.
