What is an unmanaged VPS?
An unmanaged VPS is a virtual server where you have full root access and full responsibility. You install your own software, configure the firewall, patch the OS, and tune the stack. Cloudzy provides the hardware, networking, and the base image, everything above that is yours to control.
What's the difference between managed and unmanaged hosting?
On unmanaged hosting, you handle the OS, security patches, web server, database, backups, and monitoring. On managed hosting, the provider does that for you (and charges accordingly). Cloudzy ships unmanaged by default, you get root SSH, we don't run anything inside your box. If you want a control panel, install one, or add a paid panel like cPanel or Plesk via BYOL.
Who should pick an unmanaged VPS?
Developers, sysadmins, agencies, and anyone comfortable on a Linux command line. If you've used SSH, edited a Nginx config, or written a systemd unit, unmanaged is for you. The upside is full control and a lower price; the downside is that everything above the kernel is your problem to fix.
Is the OS pre-installed?

Can I install a control panel later?
Yes. Most popular Linux panels run cleanly on Cloudzy, cPanel, Plesk, DirectAdmin, aaPanel, CyberPanel, Webmin, ISPConfig, Virtualmin. cPanel and Plesk require a paid license (bring your own, or contact sales to add one). aaPanel and CyberPanel are free.

What happens if I break it?
Reinstall from the panel, the OS is reimaged in 60 seconds. Snapshots are free; take one before risky changes and roll back if it goes sideways. We don't ship into your filesystem to fix it for you, but the rebuild button is one click away.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. Egress is included in your monthly transfer allotment. Snapshots are free. IPv4 + IPv6 are included. Root access is included. The only paid extras are Floating IPs ($2.50/month) and additional snapshots beyond the free quota.
