Server, frontend, agent, what goes where?

On a small setup, all three (server, frontend, database) on one VPS. As you scale, split the database to its own VPS, run the frontend on a tiny one, and keep the Zabbix Server on a beefier instance with NVMe for fast writes. Agents go on every host you want monitored.

How many devices can a Zabbix Server VPS handle?
