Access Wekan
- Åbn din browser og gå til:
http://<SERVER_IP>(HTTP) - Register your username, email address and password.
- First registered user will be admin, and next ones normal users.
- During registration, you may see an “Internal Server Error” because email is not configured, but the user is still created and you can log in normally.
- If you want to disable self-registration, go to Admin Panel → Settings and check “Disable Self Registration”.

Common Commands
Navigate to project:
cd /opt/wekan
Se logfiler:
docker compose logs -f
Genstart tjenester:
docker compose restart
Stop / Start:
docker compose down
docker compose up -d
Kontroller containere:
docker ps
Enable Email (Optional)
Rediger:
/root/wekan/docker-compose.yml
Uncomment and configure:
MAIL_URL=smtp://<mail_url>:25/?ignoreTLS=true&tls={rejectUnauthorized:false}
MAIL_FROM=Wekan Notifications <[email protected]>
Then apply:
docker compose up -d
Aktivering af SSL med et domæne
1. Peg dit domæne mod serverens IP-adresse.
2. Rediger docker-compose.yml for at angive dit domæne som ROOT_URL: ROOT_URL=https://your.domain.com
3. Genskab tjenesterne:
cd /root/wekan/
docker compose up -d
3. Edit Nginx config and replace server_name _; med dit domæne (server_name <your-domain>;):
vim /etc/nginx/sites-available/wekan
4. Install Certbot:
apt install -y certbot python3-certbot-nginx
5. Run the following command to generate a valid Let’s Encrypt certificate:
certbot --nginx --non-interactive --agree-tos --email [email protected] -d yourdomain.com
6. Genstart Nginx for at anvende ændringerne:
systemctl restart nginx
7. Åbn din browser og gå til: https://yourdomain.com
