When you leave a comment on our blog, we collect the name and email address you enter, the content of your comment, and technical information such as your IP address and browser user agent.

Comments run on Comentario, open-source software that we host on our own servers. Your comment data stays on Cloudzy infrastructure and is not passed to a third-party comment provider.

Comments posted before our blog moved to its current platform were imported from our previous WordPress site. They show the name each author supplied at the time. Email addresses attached to those older comments were not imported.

Média

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

If you comment on our blog, our comment software may store a cookie so that you do not have to type your name and email address again the next time you comment.

If you create an account to comment, we set a session cookie that keeps you signed in. It is removed when you sign out.
