Odoo

Überblick

Odoo is installed from source and runs:

• As a systemd service
• Under the dedicated system user odoo
• Using PostgreSQL as database backend
• Inside a Python virtual environment
• Listening on port 8069

Zugang

Im Browser öffnen: http://<SERVER_IP>:8069

First visit opens the Odoo setup wizard.

• Enter the master password from /root/.cloudzy-creds (admin_passwd).
• Complete the form to create the initial database and admin account.

Initial startup may take some time while all components are being initialized and become fully operational.

• Odoo home: /opt/odoo
• Odoo source: /opt/odoo/odoo
• Virtual environment: /opt/odoo/venv
• Konfigurationsdatei: /etc/odoo.conf
• Custom addons: /opt/odoo/custom/addons
• Systemd-Dienst: /etc/systemd/system/odoo.service
• Anmeldedaten-Datei: /root/.cloudzy-creds

Dienstleistungsmanagement

Status überprüfen:

systemctl status odoo

Dienst starten:

systemctl start odoo

Dienst neu starten:

systemctl restart odoo

Protokolle anzeigen:

journalctl -u odoo -f

Odoo Configuration

Hauptkonfigurationsdatei: /etc/odoo.conf

Key parameters:

• admin_passwd → Master password
• db_user → odoo
• addons_path → Core + custom modules
• xmlrpc_port → 8069

Sicherheitshinweise

For secure deployment, configure:

• Nginx reverse proxy.
• HTTPS.
• Firewall rules limiting access to port 8069.
• Fail2ban or rate limiting protection.
