Similarity suspension happens when Cloudzy’s fraud-detection system flags an account as similar to other accounts already known or suspected to be fraudulent or abusive. It exists to prevent abuse.
Policy Basis
Per Cloudzy’s ข้อกำหนดในการให้บริการ, having multiple accounts isn’t permitted, even under different email addresses. Organizations with a legitimate need for multiple accounts, for example several teams, must coordinate with support in advance and get explicit approval, including an explanation of their use case.
What Happens When Flagged
The account gets suspended. The user typically receives a message explaining that their account was suspended due to similarities with other accounts flagged as fraudulent, and is asked whether they have other Cloudzy accounts (so they can be merged) or not (so the case can be reviewed further).
The user is required to complete identity verification (KYC). Without completing it, the account will not be reopened.
Avoiding False Flags
It’s best not to log in using a VPN or proxy with a shared IP. Shared IPs are often associated with multiple unrelated accounts and can trigger this system by mistake.
Resolution Path
If suspended, open a support ticket. Support will guide you through the next steps, which may include identity verification, merging accounts if you have more than one, or providing documentation for your case.
Related Suspension Types
Similarity suspension is one of four ways a Cloudzy service or account can be suspended. See the full breakdown in Cloudzy Suspension Types.
