NVMe VPS at a glance

Every Cloudzy VPS ships with pure NVMe storage, no SATA tier, across all 12 regions, starting at $2.48/month. Capacities run from 20 GB on the entry plan to 1500 GB on the 64 GB tier. Snapshots are copy-on-write and free. Servers run on AMD EPYC + 40 Gbps, deploy in 60 seconds, and resize live without reboot. Cloudzy has operated independently since 2008, serves 122,000+ developers, and is rated 4.6 / 5 by 695+ reviewers on Trustpilot.

Why builders pick Cloudzy

Storage that keeps up.

Same disk on every plan

We don't sell you SSD on the marketing page and SATA in the small print. Every plan, every region, every tenant, pure NVMe.

Free, fast snapshots

Capture in under a second, restore in seconds. No charge for the first set; tiered storage past that.

Live resize

Grow the disk without rebooting. KVM hot-plug means most resizes are under 60 seconds.

Enterprise endurance

DC-grade NVMe SSDs with PLP and high DWPD. We size storage for our worst customer, not our best.

What you get

Real NVMe.
Not 'SSD' in disguise.

A lot of providers say "SSD" and quietly run SATA-attached SSDs underneath. NVMe sits on PCIe lanes, different bus, different protocol, real performance.

Verify yourself: lsblk -o NAME,TRAN shows nvme.

Use cases

Where NVMe
earns its keep.

PostgreSQL / MySQL workhorses

Random I/O is what kills database performance on cheap SSD. NVMe gives you the IOPS to keep B-tree updates and WAL writes flying.

Container build farms

Layer caching, image extraction, scratch tarballs, all I/O bound. NVMe shaves whole minutes off CI runs vs SATA.

Search / Elasticsearch / Meilisearch

Full-text indexes love fast random reads. Cold queries are an order of magnitude faster on NVMe than on SATA SSD.

Logging stacks

Loki, Vector, ClickHouse, Postgres-as-log, they all eat write IOPS at peak. NVMe doesn't blink.

AI inference with on-disk vectors

Vector DBs (Qdrant, Weaviate, pgvector) are I/O-bound when the vector index spills. NVMe keeps tail latency under control.

Media processing

Read raw, transcode, write encoded. The whole pipeline is sequential I/O at 1+ GB/s; cheap disks just can't keep up.

FAQ. NVMe VPS

Common questions, straight answers.

Is NVMe really standard on every plan?

Yes. We don't have a 'budget tier' that runs on SATA SSDs or spinning disks. Every Cloudzy VPS, from the 512 MB entry plan to the 64 GB tier, sits on enterprise NVMe storage. No exceptions, no upcharge.

What does that mean for performance?

Random I/O on NVMe is roughly an order of magnitude faster than SATA SSD, and roughly two orders of magnitude faster than spinning disks. For databases, container builds, log processing, and anything random-access-heavy, the difference is felt every day.

How much storage do I get?

From 20 GB on the 512 MB plan up to 1500 GB on the 64 GB plan. Every plan tier scales storage along with RAM and vCPU. No cliff-edge upgrades; just pick the tier that fits.

Is the storage local or networked?

Local NVMe in the host. We don't run shared storage SAN. That keeps latency low and makes I/O performance consistent rather than dependent on neighboring tenants' workloads.

What about IOPS and throughput?

Real numbers depend on plan size and workload pattern, but our smallest plan delivers more random IOPS than a typical SATA SSD ever will, and the bigger plans saturate well into the multi-GB/s range on sequential reads.

Do snapshots use NVMe?

Snapshots are stored on parallel NVMe pools so restores don't block live I/O on your VPS. Snapshot capture itself is copy-on-write, instant from your perspective, the actual move happens in the background.

Can I attach extra block storage?

Resize your existing NVMe disk live from the panel, most upgrades are under 60 seconds with no reboot. For long-term archival or huge datasets, talk to us about object storage.

Is there a money-back guarantee?

Yes, 14 days from purchase, no questions asked, full refund.
