Dedicated Server at a glance

Cloudzy sells dedicated bare-metal servers in 12 regions across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Each server is a whole physical machine, no hypervisor, no shared cores, built on AMD EPYC or Intel Xeon Scalable CPUs with DDR5 memory, NVMe-only storage, and 40 Gbps networking. Configurations include IPMI, dedicated IPv4, and DDoS mitigation. Stock configurations ship same business day; custom builds in 2-5 business days. Cloudzy has operated independently since 2008 and is rated 4.6 / 5 by 705+ reviewers on Trustpilot.

Why teams pick bare metal

The whole machine, no hypervisor.

When VPS won't cut it, physical isolation, predictable I/O, custom kernel access.

The whole physical machine

No hypervisor, no shared cores, no neighbor noise. CPU sockets, RAM modules, NVMe drives, NIC ports, all yours. The hardware behaves exactly as the silicon spec sheet says it should.

IPMI + root from day one

Out-of-band management means you can power-cycle, view boot console, mount virtual media, and re-image without opening a ticket. Custom kernel, custom hypervisor, custom BIOS, your call.

Same support, same SLA

24/7 human support, 99.95% uptime SLA, 14-day money-back. Bare metal doesn't mean you're on your own, engineers are still on chat in minutes if a drive fails or a NIC goes loopy.

Configurable, not catalog-locked

Tell us the workload, we'll quote the right CPU class, RAM topology, drive count, and network config. Custom configurations ship in 2-5 business days. Stock configurations same business day.

What's on the menu

We'll quote it.

Standard configurations stocked in every region; custom builds available with specific drive counts, additional NICs, GPU passthrough, or NUMA-tuned topology. Tell us the workload, we'll suggest a config and a price that fits.

Use cases

Why teams move
from VPS to bare metal.

Database master nodes

Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, ClickHouse, Cassandra running at scale. NVMe IOPS without virtualization overhead, full memory bandwidth, no noisy neighbor stealing IO. Pin to a specific NUMA node when it matters.

Bare-metal Kubernetes

Run your own k8s cluster on bare metal, better than a managed service for HPC pods, GPU sharing, and workloads that need direct hardware access. Tools like Talos, kubeadm, or k0s install cleanly.

GPU training clusters

Pre-training or large-scale fine-tuning with multi-GPU bare-metal nodes. Direct GPU access without virtualization shim, NVLink between cards on the same chassis, and RDMA-capable NICs available on request.

Regulatory isolation

Healthcare, finance, government workloads where physical-machine isolation is part of the audit trail. We don't make compliance claims, but we do provide the hardware-level isolation that compliance teams need to build their own.

Hypervisor host

Run Proxmox, VMware ESXi, KVM, or your own hypervisor on the bare metal. Re-sell VPS to your customers, or carve up the box across internal teams. Full control over the virtualization layer.

Trading + matching engines

Low-latency order entry, market data ingestion, matching engines. Bare metal removes hypervisor jitter. CPU pinning, NUMA awareness, and direct NIC access all available.

FAQ. Dedicated Server

Common questions, straight answers.

What's the difference between a dedicated server and a Cloud VPS?

A dedicated server is the entire physical machine. CPU sockets, RAM, NVMe drives, network card, assigned to you with no hypervisor in between. A Cloud VPS shares the physical host with other tenants but has its own allocation. Bare metal is what you pick when you can't tolerate the noisy-neighbor risk, need root-level hardware control (custom BIOS, IPMI, kernel modules), or have regulatory requirements that mandate physical isolation.

What hardware can I configure?

AMD EPYC or Intel Xeon Scalable CPUs, DDR5 memory, NVMe-only storage, and 40 Gbps networking are the standard menu. Specific SKUs and pricing depend on the region, the configuration, and the contract term, talk to our team for a quote that matches your workload.

How long does a dedicated server take to provision?

Typically same business day if the configuration is in stock at the chosen region. Custom configurations (specific drive counts, additional NICs, custom RAM topology) take longer, usually 2-5 business days. We'll confirm the timeline when you accept the quote.

Do I get IPMI / out-of-band access?

Yes. Every dedicated server ships with IPMI access from a private management network. You can power-cycle, view console output, mount virtual media, and re-image without going through our team.

What's the contract term?

Monthly billing is standard with no long-term lock-in. Discounts apply on quarterly and annual contracts, these are negotiated as part of the quote. We don't require a year-long commitment to get started; the 14-day money-back guarantee applies on the first month.

Can I run my own hypervisor (Proxmox, VMware, ESXi)?

Yes. The hardware is yours, install Proxmox, VMware, ESXi, OpenStack, or any other hypervisor. We don't lock you to a specific stack. The IPMI is fully exposed so you can manage the host bare-metal install yourself.

What about DDoS mitigation on bare metal?

Same network-edge DDoS mitigation as our Cloud VPS plans, included on every dedicated server. Volumetric attacks are filtered upstream before they reach your hardware.

Which regions have dedicated servers available?

Most of the 12 Cloudzy regions, with deeper inventory in Utah, Dallas, Amsterdam, and Frankfurt. Some specialty configurations (specific GPU bare-metal SKUs, multi-NIC setups) are only stocked in our larger sites, we'll confirm region availability when you talk to sales.

Can I add storage / RAM / GPUs after provisioning?

Yes. We schedule a maintenance window and physically expand the server. RAM and storage upgrades are usually under 30 minutes of downtime; GPU additions take longer if the chassis needs reconfiguration. Pricing is incremental, you only pay for the new components.

Money-back guarantee on dedicated servers?

14 days from delivery, no questions asked. We refund the first month's payment if the server doesn't work for you. Multi-month or annual contracts can be cancelled within the same window for a prorated refund.
