How many IPs can I attach to one VPS?
Every VPS starts with one dedicated IPv4 included. You can attach additional Floating IPs at $2.50 per month each — there's no hard cap, but for very large pools (20+) just open a ticket so we can confirm capacity in your region.
What's a Floating IP?
A Floating IP is a portable IPv4 you own at the account level, not the server level. You can attach it to any of your VPS, detach it, and re-attach to another server in seconds. Useful for fail-over, blue/green deploys, and scraper rotation.
Can I use multiple IPs for SEO scraping or research?
Yes — that's a common use case. Bind your scraper to specific source IPs and rotate as needed. Just stay within the destination's robots.txt and terms; we don't allow abusive scraping or bypassing anti-fraud systems.
Can each IP have its own reverse DNS?
Yes. PTR records for every IPv4 (primary + Floating) are editable from the panel. Critical for multi-tenant mail servers where each domain needs its own IP and matching rDNS.
How fast is attaching / detaching an IP?
Seconds. The panel API attaches the IP and the OS sees it as soon as the DHCP lease refreshes — typically under 10 seconds. No reboot required.
Are these dedicated or shared?
All IPs allocated to your account are dedicated to you. We don't pool IPv4 with other tenants and we don't NAT — each IP belongs to one VPS at a time.
What about IPv6?
Every VPS gets a /64 IPv6 block included. That's 18 quintillion IPv6 addresses on one server, all routable, no extra charge. Configure as many as you want on eth0.
Can I reverse a region migration without losing IPs?
Floating IPs stay with your account, but they're region-locked — an IP from us-utah-1 can't move to eu-fra-1. Plan your IP geography at deploy time. Same-region migrations keep all IPs intact.
