Our Asia region is ap-sgp-1 in Singapore, and it covers Southeast Asia well (Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, India) along with the wider region. You pick the region in the cart and the VPS provisions there in 60 seconds. A Tokyo region (ap-tyo-1) is on the way but is not open for deployment yet.
Which region should I pick for Asian traffic?
Singapore is the default for Asia: it is the better pick for SE-Asia traffic, fintech in the region, and cross-border traders. If your users sit further south, Sydney (ap-syd-1) is the other live option in the wider APAC area. For North-East Asia, Singapore is currently the closest region we can deploy.
