What is a Coolify VPS?
A Coolify VPS is a Cloudzy cloud server running Coolify, the open-source self-hosted alternative to Heroku, Vercel, and Netlify. Push to a git branch, Coolify builds with Nixpacks or your Dockerfile, deploys, terminates HTTPS, and exposes the app at your domain. No per-dyno fees, no per-build minutes.
Is Coolify pre-installed?
Coolify is available as a one-click install from the panel. Pick a Linux template, the installer brings up Coolify and Docker, and the admin UI is reachable on your dedicated IP within a couple of minutes. Bring your own domain, point DNS, and you're production-ready.
How is it different from Heroku, Vercel, or Render?
Same git-push deploy ergonomics, same managed databases, same automatic TLS, but on hardware you control, with no per-dyno fee. You pay for the VPS, not for each running process. Outgrow it? Add another VPS to the same Coolify and balance across them.
What's the minimum VPS size?
Coolify itself plus a small static site fits on a 2 GB box. For a typical full-stack app (Node + Postgres + cache) plus build runners, 4 GB is the practical minimum. 8–16 GB if you're hosting several busy apps on one server.
Which databases can it manage?
Postgres, MySQL/MariaDB, MongoDB, Redis, Keydb, ClickHouse, and more, all as managed services Coolify creates and backs up for you on the same VPS or a separate one. Connection strings get injected into your apps via env vars.
Can I deploy from any Git provider?
