Access Your Seafile Server
- Open your browser and navigate to:
http://<SERVER_IP> - Login using admin credentials (stored securely inside
/opt/seafile/.env).

Configuration Files:
/opt/seafile/.env/opt/seafile/seafile-server.yml/opt/seafile/seadoc.yml/opt/seafile/caddy.yml
Data volumes:
/opt/seafile-data/opt/seafile-mysql/opt/seadoc-data/opt/seafile-caddy
Managing the Stack
Move into the installation directory:
cd /opt/seafile
Start:
docker compose -f seafile-server.yml up -d
Stop:
docker compose -f seafile-server.yml down
Check logs:
docker compose -f seafile-server.yml logs -f
Check service status:
docker ps
Changing the Server Hostname
Edit the .env file to set your domain name:
SEAFILE_SERVER_HOSTNAME=your.domain.com
If you’re enabling HTTPS, also update:
SEAFILE_SERVER_PROTOCOL=https
Recreate the services:
cd /opt/seafile
docker compose up -d
Wait a few moments for the configuration to propagate.
Your instance will become available at: http://your.domain.com or https://your.domain.com
