Cloudzy Auto-Recharge Guide

Auto-Recharge is a feature designed to automatically top up your Cloudzy account balance. This ensures that your VPS and other services continue to operate without interruptions due to insufficient funds.

Accessing Auto-Recharge

To set up or manage Auto-Recharge in your Cloudzy account:

  1. Log in to your Cloudzy account.

  2. Navigate to Billing → Auto Recharge in the left-hand menu.

  3. From here, you can activate, edit, or deactivate Auto-Recharge at any time.

Activating Auto-Recharge

When activating Auto-Recharge, two key parameters must be set:

  1. Balance Threshold – This is the minimum account balance that triggers the Auto-Recharge process.

    • The system checks your balance once daily. If the balance falls below the threshold, Auto-Recharge automatically adds funds to your account.

  2. Recharge Amount – This is the fixed amount that will be added to your account each time Auto-Recharge is triggered.

    • Funds are added securely via Stripe.

Example:

Suppose you set the following values:

  • Balance Threshold: $5

  • Recharge Amount: $10

If your account balance drops below $5 during the daily check, Auto-Recharge will automatically add $10 to your account. After the recharge, your account balance will reflect the new total, ensuring services remain active without manual intervention.

This process repeats whenever your balance falls below the specified threshold. You can adjust both the threshold and the recharge amount at any time from the Auto-Recharge tab in your Cloudzy panel.

Updating Your Payment Card for Auto-Recharge

For security reasons, Cloudzy does not store payment card details directly. To update the card used for Auto-Recharge:

  1. Make a manual payment using your new card to verify it works with our system.

  2. Update the card in Stripe: After the manual payment, log in to your Stripe panel and replace the old card with the new one.

    • Stripe securely handles future Auto-Recharges with this card.

    • Stripe Panel

  3. Confirmation in Cloudzy Panel: Once updated in Stripe, the new card will be used automatically for all future Auto-Recharges.

Managing Auto-Recharge

Users can manage Auto-Recharge at any time:

  • Edit values: Change the balance threshold or recharge amount.

  • Deactivate: Turn off Auto-Recharge if you prefer to top up manually.

By using Auto-Recharge, you maintain uninterrupted access to your Cloudzy services, avoid manual payment delays, and ensure account balances remain sufficient for all VPS and service needs.
