Cloudzy generates a monthly invoice for every account as a record of payments made during that billing period. Understanding how they work saves confusion when you’re reviewing your billing history or need a document for accounting purposes.
What an Invoice Shows
Invoices reflect payments that have already been processed — not upcoming charges or amounts due. Every line item corresponds to a transaction that went through during that month, covering all services purchased and what was paid for each. The downloaded file also includes your account profile information alongside Cloudzy’s official company details, which makes it usable for formal record-keeping.
Open and Closed Status
Each invoice is either Open or Closed. The system handles this automatically — at the end of each month the invoice closes, and the first transaction of the new month opens a fresh one. There’s nothing to do manually on your end.
Downloading an Invoice
In the Billing section of your panel, each invoice has a Download option. The file you receive is the complete invoice for that period, including all transaction details and both your profile information and Cloudzy’s official details.
Updating Your Invoice Details
The name and information that appear on invoices are pulled from your account profile. To change them, go to Account → Profile and update the relevant fields. Changes apply to future invoices only — closed invoices retain whatever details were on file when they were generated. It may also take a short while for profile updates to reflect in the Billing section.
Need a Custom Invoice?
For cases where a standard invoice doesn’t meet your requirements — such as a different name, a specific format, or a document scoped to a particular product — the support team can generate an official invoice on your behalf.
It’s worth ensuring your profile information is accurate before the end of each billing cycle. Once an invoice is closed, the details on it are fixed and can only be amended through a support request.
You can reach the team through the Cloudzy support portal.
